Introduction

Google Assistant is currently only supported by the QCW3MP, QCW3MP1B, QCW3MP1D, QCW4K1MC and QCW4MP1PT. The most current firmware must be installed on your camera.

  1. Open Google Home
    • Open Google Home

    • Select + Add

  2. Select Set up Device
    • Select Set up Device

  3. In order to stream your feed to a TV, a Chrome Cast is required and must be linked to your account.

    • Select Have something already set up

  4. Search for Q-See Plus
    • Search for Q-See Plus

    • Select Q-See Plus

  5. Enter the Username and Password for your Q-See Plus Account.

    • Select Sign In

  6. Q-See Plus will need authorization to access your account.
    • Q-See Plus will need authorization to access your account.

    • Select Authorize

  7. Q-See Plus will add the devices from your account into Google Home.
    • Q-See Plus will add the devices from your account into Google Home.

    • Select your Camera to assign a room.

    • A room must be assigned to your camera. The name of the room will be used to identify your camera.

  8. Select a Room
    • Select a Room

  9. Select Done
    • Select Done

    • You can now tell google to show your camera on a chrome cast.

    • Example: OK Google, Show me Bedroom Camera on Living Room TV

    • The video feed shown via chromecast can have up to a 10 second delay.

I would also recommend checking the linked answer. Keep in mind that your camera must be set to H.264 to be supported by Google Assistant.

Some of our cameras may ship out in H.265, and need to be changed.

I can only get 1 device to show during the set up

You will need to remove the Q-See Plus service from Google, and re-add it for recently added cameras to appear.
