Not able to pass step 6 to add camera.

Syncing through audio keeps failing. What do I need to do?

camera: QCW2MPSL

mobile device: tried both iPhone XR and iPad II

router: ASUS (has both 2.5 and 5 G bands, but neither worked)

You will need to use the 2.4ghz band. Feel free to contact our support team at 877-998-3440 for additional troubleshooting options.

2.4G is what i have been trying the most. May I suggest to update the document in step 5. Why would you pick an example login like DSPI-5GHz if 5G is NOT compatible? It seems like a misleading example that intentionally throws the users off the right path.

Anyways, i will try this process with a different camera (i have 4 to add) tonight and if it doesn’t work i will call the customer service.

When trying step 6, the spotlight comes on, possibly bcz motion is detected. Green light blinking is needed to pair, so what’s the solution?

I have been putting a sticker on the camera, so motion detector is activated less often.

The light will come on when motion is detected, that is the active deterrent feature. Blinking Green means ready to be connected. If an SD card is inside the camera, even if you are not setup with a router, the camera will record when heat is detected. PIR (Heat) is used to trigger recording, but motion triggers the light.

Best Regards,
