It doesn’t work. I keep getting an error from QSee’s email server and the tech support people want me to pay for a service plan to unlock my NVR. I refuse. This is strongarm mafia tactics to make money off a system I already paid over $2000 for!!!

if the email server is not working for changing the password:

1: Factory Reset ( this will set the password back to admin)

Menu - "Settings" System - Default - Factory Reset

2: When the system reboots, skip the wizard

3: Login to the DVR from internet explorer
